i want to be an emt but am having difficulty with school tuition is it true that there are companies that will pay for tuition

Yes, there are also some cities like (FDNY) they will also train you. Only exception is you usually have to work for the company for a predetermined amount of time. If you leave the company before then, they usually charge you for the schooling. Look into scholarships is my advice.

EMSA in Oklahoma City has an EMT-B to Paramedic program, but like Oregon said, you have to work for them for a specified time. As private services go, EMSA is great (good pay/cost of living ratio). I did my internship there and loved the city and the company.
