Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field?

What skills should you learn to increase your salary?

I just got a PSR job at a physical therapy office and the pay starts at $13. I saw the Mayo Clinic offering $16.54. My manager said it may go up as I do my training and they see how qualified I am. Not sure by how much though...

Hi and congrats on your job. Hope its going well. I have a question. What exactly are your job duties? I'm asking because I've been searching for PSR info and have come across different descriptions. I knew a lady a few years ago who was contracted through a medical company as a PSR. She talked to people who were in the hospital about benefits they may be eligible for. Then, she'd take their info to Government offices and apply for different things on their behalf(food stamps, medicaid). Is that what you do or will do?
