What is the best training for becoming a payroll administrator? What types of ongoing training or certifications are necessary to be an effective payroll administrator?

go to the American Payroll Association website - APA_Member​ship@americ​anpayroll.o​rg and research getting a payroll certification for a (FPC )Fundamental Payroll Cert. OR CPP (Certified Payroll Professioal). The FPC is the lower certification for payroll processes etc and the PCC is almost like a CPA test. You can do this online. If you have experience the FPC test is a good start and not as much experience and knowledge is needed. Hope that helps
