How did you get your start doing payroll representative work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

I began working for a work comp, payroll and government compliance company in 2002 - I started out delivering the payroll. In the beginning of 2005 I was given a promotion and moved into an office as the admin asst. Later that year, I was given another promotion into a payroll position at another office.

My company typically requires a bachelors degree in business or finance to be considered for my position. I do not have any degrees, but I was able to move into it because of my history with the company.
