One 1 particular pc, when I run perl scripts that use WIN32::OLE calls, the perl script runs to completion - I verified this with the operations, printing debug lines, and using the debugger. However, the perl process never exits and must be killed via windows task manager. The process is not continuing to consume system resources beyond what it used to complete the functionality of the script, so it isn't a memory leak or cpu leak.
I have compared perl versions, os versions, and mks toolkit versions between the machine where it hangs and the machine where it exits, and nothing is different. Has anyone else run into this problem?
I can share the script if it will help to debug this issue.
Many Thanks!!!
