Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming personal care attendant interview? Are there common interview questions that come up again and again? |

Hello there: I have just somehow stumbled across your question and since i am here I thought I might put up some of the most common interview questions that you as a job seaker may be asked in an interview: 1)Tell me about yourself?
CertIII aged care Interview Questions: 1)Do you know what ACFI stands for? Can you briefly explain what it does?
I to am a PCA in training with 6 weeks or less to go, these interview questions were given to me and to all staudents in my class from our own teacher who is a PCA / clinical Teacher herself! I hope this helps you and anyone else looking for work !!! |

Good question, and excellent response, KIMBA. As a training provider in this industry, you would also want to cover a few aspects of the training and background that you have to qualify you for the job. Training is not all the same, and there are some providers that offer 6 week crash courses with minimal exposure to the industry and no real context to the job. There are also TAFE courses that struggle to maintain relevance to the industry because the teachers have been out of the job for some time. We are a not-for-profit that has training, agency and even a product division in the same organisation. The focus of the business is on the industry and the trainers are also current with best practice and front line experience as well as familiar with the regulations and the industry. Make reference therefore to your training, as the reputation of the organisation will also reflect the calibre of your skills and abilities. Your training will also require you to have a practical component and you can draw on experiences where you have made a difference to someone's life in that context. |
