I am 26 years old and thinking about returning to school to become a pharmacist. I know that this career would be a good fit for me. However I am concerned about my age. Does 26 seem a little old to be pursuing this career? I am single and childless so I feel like I can handle any course load. However do you think their is a good chance I will be accepted into a program or are they generally only looking for the younger types?

Don't know about Texas but in UK I would say you are Ok up to about 40 for starting a course Providing you are fit and up to it academically

Oh no there's no age limit. I say go for it. As long as you are up to the course load which is pretty challenging for this career choice. Good luck to you!
