I just passed the ptce and would like to start work in a hospital pharmacy eventually. I have 3 years tech experience in a retail pharmacy and it's just not where I would like to be anymore.

to make this short, here is my question. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can learn a bit more about hospital pharmacy work examples being chemo, IV mixes and stuff like that. Basically things you wouldn't do in a retail a pharmacy. I obviously know brands/generics, math, sigs, laws ect... because of my retail experience. is there a book available that just teaches hospital pharmacy? I hate weeding through basic pharm tech books to learn this stuff.

Also, how much on the job training will a hospital give when you start? Once hired, do they expect you to 100% know how to fill an IV and what not? Or will they train you even further even though you're certified?

Anyways, thanks! All answers are welcomed!
