Another trait that comes to mind is the ability to be fluid and quick to make difficult decisions such as what happens when there is a breakdown in the communications stream of your security network. Do you shut a facility down? or Do you have some quick fix to remedy the situation? These are small questions you will inevitably have to answer, most often on the fly while you are dealing with other security problems. |

A means to practice physical security is to imagine a box: Who needs to get into this box? Who do you not want to get into this box? Now how do you plan to keep these two groups apart from one another (the cans from the can nots)? What can be done to the facility to provide countermeasures to a breach? This is the simplest way to establish an idea of physical security. |
