Ok, lets start with the most basic of all questions. I am a very recent CJ graduate and came across an opening for a Physical Security Specialist LESO position working for the DHS. Can someone tell me specifically what a PSS does? Is it security monitoring, cameras, or will I be staring through a camera all day? Thanks so much for your input. |

A Federal PSS/LESO is a Physical Security Specialist/Law Enforcement Security Officer. Google or Indeed the job title of go to USAJOBS.Gov and review the duties of the position posted. This is most likely a commissioned armed position at DHS (Departmrnt of Homeland Security) requiring a security background investigation. |
