Hello, I have a question regarding the role of a physical therapist Assistant. Could you please tell me what EXACTLY are the responsibilities and daily functions of a PAT? I'm looking to go back to school and found a 4 semester PTA program. I've always wanted to be a P/T for children, but felt very unsure of myself and my abilities. I believe a PTA will be a rewarding career for me, as I am a creative person, with a great deal of patience without being bothered by repetition. I've also read that PTA careers are in demand?

I am also looking into PTA. I am a sophomore in high-school and I don't believe I have the grades to become full-Fledged PT and I believe that PTA is more right for me being I don't have to worry about all the paper work and get to do the more physical aspect of the job. From what I have read the PTA field will be almost double within the next few years and landing a job is actually relatively easy because of the fact most of the PT's want to go into the sport aspect of Physical Therapy so there are jobs out there but they are more so in the Nursing home/out pati |
