I'm a french pipe-fitter (instrument actually) from toulouse, southern of france.
In France, pipe-fitting works decline, less construction site and less knowledges pipe-fitters, salaries are ok but not as much as we known at the 80's and beginning of 90's
Petrole increase should be a good thing for us, we should have many work for ethanol, nuclear,...

What about united states, have you got many work, do you need pipe-fitters, and which specifications (industrial, pharmaceutics, petroleum,...)

thanks for your answers

Gregory, here in Chicago work is slow. In the U.S. and in canada, the local unions have stickers and pins. We trade with each other all over the country. If you guys have anything like that I would like to trade with you.
