I was woundering what the odds of obtaining a Personal Chef position might be for a person who has been out of the formal busines for years? I have had over 10+ years experince in commercial, Institutional, food service and Catering ending in the late 80's. Cooking has always been my passion, I have however continued doing small catering and small private jobs on my own on the side through the years, and also have taken some formal Collage Culinary course work. Does anyone out there think I'm wasting my time looking into this? I would value anyones opinion or advise on this matter.
