Marine Engineer- Structural
Location: Perth

Status: Permanent Staff position and Contract position

Position Description:
Our customer requires experienced Marine Structural Engineers to occupy design Engineer roles in the fields of Marine Structural Engineering. Previous Australian experience in marine structural engineering design is considered necessary. Working within the design office, supervision of drafters, guidance of and by other engineers to pursue works opportunities generally and enhance the company’s profile throughout Australia. The candidate must also have high level of knowledge in level structural design and marine calculations.

Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications, (Bachelor of Engineering), with 4 to 8 years experience essential. Membership of IE Australia desirable but not essential, depending upon experience. Incumbents will receive regular supervision. Experience in jetties, break water, wharfs, dredging, ports in a civil/structural aspect. Experience with Spacegass or similar structural software essential. Experience with contract administration desirable but not essential.
