HOST- Come check us out. We'll get you to where you want to be within the entertainment industry, but to answer your questions, NO you need NO particular educational background. Many of our staff have different stories as to how to "get started" but NONE of them walked onto a show or were given the opportunity, without SOME production related knowledge.
Getting a "full time p.a. job" there is NO SUCH THING. You can be STAFF on a show, and be on the run from prep to wrap, but there no FULL TIME P.A. position. Day Playing is common. Once you get on a show and do some day playing work you then have contacts and numbers to call for continuing to work, but there is the EASY way of doing this and getting yourself established within the business, OR there's the hard way, which is starting, getting no where and then giving up cause the opportunities you get are of nothing but LOW/ NO budgeted shows, P.A. BOOTCAMP can get you started on shows that PAY, and connections within the industry that are reliable. Sign up today, you WON'T regret it!
