How did you get your start doing production manager work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position? Do you need a particular educational background? |

Started at the company as a regular worker, learned every job on the floor, and showed my dislike for the way my manager was handling his job and what I would do if I were the manager |

I had previous management experience in retail but it got my foot in the door to join my company's management development program. From their I went from a trainee to a production coordinator and then to a production manager. You have to start off from the bottom and work your way up but it helps if you already have management experience. Most companies will want a bachelor's just because the way the economy is right now but I never finished my degree. |
