Yes, there is a wide variance in salaries.

Many of them require specialization - Project and Program management specialties. Cost, Risk, EVM, Scheduling. It is very difficult to get a generaliss job. Many want a security clearance and government associations. Be self sustaining - MS suite of applicaations. I currently hold a top paying in Acquisition in Huntsvile. I am told I may not be needec because the requirements in Acquisition are diminishing. I will be replaced with a Senior Master Scheduler. Please do not be discouraged. I now make 90,000 annually. My previous job was 78,000. annually. Hope this helps
