How many managers have CPM designations? Do you think it is worth all of the money to have that designation?

I posted the same question several months ago. Here in South Florida I see no direct monetary value; however, I took the M100 course and I think it is a great tool to use in my professional life.

I beg to differ in NYC it is almost becoming impossible to get a PM job without CPM - I am a CPM w over 25 yrs exp and find it difficult to find. CPM do have alot more knowledge and expertise
in HVAC, plumbing, fire standpipe and bldg operation knowledge.
I have worked with many that don't have the CPM and just fly by
the seat of their pants.

No I do not think it valuable for the cost.
I feel the certification is way way over priced.
there are better certifications out there, if you want to make an impact on your career get certified in EPA HVAC and learn the mechanical systems of a property
