How did you get your start doing psychologist work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position? Do you need a particular educational background? |

To get licensed as a psychologist in Indiana, you need a doctorate degree in psychology, (clinical, counseling, or school). You then must pass a state administered oral exam, as well as the EPPP (examination for the professional practice of psychology), and have a post-doctoral year of supervised experience. It's hard to say if there is a job for someone with a B.A. in psychology, it doesn't necessarily lead to any licensure, but it couldn't hurt on a resume, especially for an entry level position in the mental health field. |

Schooling first then pass the EPPP. Here's some software to help with the exam: petc-eppptraining.com/ |
