Are jobs in this industry on the rise? Are there any sub-sectors that are growing? Where are the jobs? Which places have the most psychology technician opportunities? |

I don't really know for sure but my guess is that tech jobs are on the decline. Mental health services are not a real money maker for hospitals. Many of the people who are hospitalized for mental health reasons are homeless and not insured at all. Many are on Medicaid and with cuts to Medicaid it can be difficult to get reimbursed. Most hospitals today are really struggling financially and are not adding but laying off workers. |
