My personal opinion, I have been in quality for 15 years, basically, since graduating from University.
I would not change quality engineering for other area. As a quality engineer, you learn to have a broad scope and knowledge in different areas. Your are equipped with a high number of quality tools for problem resolution. it is challenging because you encounter a different problem all the time. Doing the RCA for a complex problem is always challenging and rewarding. Have been exposed to a number of problems. As a quality professional, have a passion for what you do is Key, always honing your knowledge. There is a good ladder for career growth in quality it does not end.
