Hey everyone!
I'm currently a 10th grader in south florida, and I was wondering if any of you guys now how the market is right now for jobs? I'm really interested in this field. Also, how did you get started in this field? Did most of you start with an ARRT program?
Hello! I have been very interested in going back to school for Radiation Therapy for a few years now. I currently have a BS in Exercise Physiology and 9 years of clnical experience. I have been looking at going to Keiser In Melbourne,Fl. Does anyone have any experience with this school? Also, would anyone recommend be getting x-ray certified first and then working on my RT online? I would LOVE to be able to take online classes and find a clinical rotation near me. Any schools out there do that? Can you get RT online without being a registered xray tech? Help me please!!
Whether you go directly for therapy or do diagnostic first is a personal choice. It almost never gives an advantage when looking for a job. Washburn University out of Topeka, KS does have an online program for therapy but you have to be diagnostic registered first. Good luck!
