I've been trying to apply to the program for the last year but I didn't get in because of all the applicants trying to apply. I've literally inquired about EVERY program in CA and they are all either taking 2-4 year waitlists or utilize lottery systems. I completed my prerequisites for LACC, Charles Drew, and Santa Barbara.

Are there any other alternatives so I don't have to wait anymore? Is a private school the best option?

Tony why are you trying to get into a field that is completely saturated, where the prospects of getting a job are dim?
