I'm currently a high school senior, considering Radiologic Technology at Foothill Community College. All of these posts are pretty depressing.

Is it really this bad? Is it like this in the Bay Area, as well? I haven't committed to anything yet, but I really do want to go into this field. However, if the job market is this bad, I will have to consider something else.

foothill college is an excellent college for rad tech if you can get in- It is affiliated w/ Kaiser and Kaiser will hire the best students.

Kaiser is NOT under a hiring freeze-I have worked for Kaiser for over 20 years-there has never been a freeze
