Want to be a tech in Chicago Heights, Illinois

I would like to hear from some of you who have done this is it very hard can it be done ? I found a few community colleges that have the program by me they both list the program as full-time.Im wondering if it is beneficial to still work as i have a family i need to work full-time but i also want a good paying career so how did some of you do it ?
