Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming recruiter interview?

Are there common interview questions that come up again and again?

I have been a recruiter and trainer for over 8 years now and have been on both the agency and corporate sides. Some of the common questions that I have come across are

1. What is it that you like about recruiting?
2.How long have you been a recruiter and what are your strengths and weaknesses?
3.Give me a situation that was challenging for you from a recruitment standpoint and how were you able to overcome or not overcome that particular challenge?
4.Why are you interested in our organization? (If I am not genuinely interested in that team or company, I've seen that it is very hard to convince the interviewer)
5.How do you rate yourself as a recruiter? (An answer of 10 is guaranteed to not get you the job!!!)
6.if it is a position involving interaction with Hiring Managers, "What are some of the questions you will ask about a job requirement/Guide me through the process of gathering requirements from the hiring manager?

Hope this helps...
