How did you get your start doing recruiting coordinator work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position? Do you need a particular educational background? |

I started out as an Internet Recruiter or Sourcer, then developed into a Technical Recruiter role, which I found wasn't for me, and then our company grew so much, a recruiting coordinator role opened up and I got considered for it for seniority.
I think as long as you have an HR degree or social sciences degree, and you start out as a Jr Recruiter or a SOurcer, it would be very easy to transition into a recruiting coordinator role. I myself make $45k per year and I've seen job in the Northern NJ area that can pay as much as $75K per year. But it also gives you the option to transition into an HR job. |
