Day-long RA interview?

I was just offered a job interview for a research assistant position for a group of orthopedic surgeons at a large teaching hospital. They informed me that the interview will take all day. First, the chief of orthopedics and several other surgeons will interview me, then I will watch them perform a two-hour long surgery.

I am right out of college and have never had an interview last for more than thirty minutes... Let alone eight hours. How do I prepare for this?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! =)
