trends social service research / program evaluation

I have a Masters degree in Social Work (concentration in research) and would like to enhance my field placement experience with some additional projects. Since I work full-time, a part-time or volunteer position where I can work closely with a senior researcher would be ideal. I have experience with data collection and evaluation, analysis, report production, and have been teaching foundation research methods on the undergraduate level for two years. I understand that the demand for program evaluators is growing and I am taking a course to prepare myself. If you know of any opportunities, please pass them along.

Check out the research and policy departmetn urban justice center. They do a lot of work with CBPR in NYC. They do not have a strong focus on program evaluation, but they are one of the best social research firms I know in the area. When I worked there they constantly took volunteers and paided gradatue interns.
