I'm currently searching for jobs as a dishwasher but I'm somewhat lacking in self-confidence. It may sound silly but this is my first time searching for a job. What is expected from a dishwasher in experience?

It's more about how you present yourself, your ability to work the required hours, reliable transportation and ability to physically perform the work.

You don't need any experience, you only have to work very hard and fast especially at a high volume restaurant. You will receive on the job training via most likely another dishwasher and chef. You can work your way up within the kitchen if you like to cook and show interest...Good luck
