How did you get your start doing Revenue Analyst work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position? Do you need a particular educational background? |

I am a Revenue Analyst at a top Health Care Provider. To answer your question, a background in finance and/or accounting would be very beneficial in landing an analyst position. You don't necessarily need a long work history but this will obviously depend on the company you are applying to. I was offered this position right after earning my degree. If you are still in school and want to get into an analytical field, I would recommend majoring in finance, accounting, business or economics. I graduated with a double major in economics and political science. |

Another interesting skill is Information Systems (Excel, Access, SQL or any database tool). |
