Hi All,

I am presently working as a J2ee developer and like to switch my career to SAP. So I am not able to understand from where i should start. Like what is the first thing i should do in SAP. I heard couple of things like SAP ABAP, SAP Portal, SAP Netweaver but i am not sure where to start.
Any inputs will be helpful.

Thanx in Advance!!

Regards

you can even use your current J2EE skills to get into SAP. SAP has a division on J2EE development.
Otherwise you should look up SAP website and other forums on SAP for excample:
www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn

and see what intersts you the most. then you can enhance your expertise in that field or just go wiht your present one and apply for a suitable job.

Hello,

Get a job with a company that wants your skills but also has sap. Then express an interest into moving into sap and seem very keen. Eventually they should move you in there!

Good luck!

Kind regards
