The primary function of the position is to identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage using safety standards, best management practices, and analytical techniques. Responsibilities Include: Develop and conduct training on OSHA regulations and company policies. Perform job site analysis, determine employee exposure, and institute safe work procedures. Conduct daily safety inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions. Maintain all site required documentation related to safety issues, i.e. accident reports, inspection reports, training logs. Conduct accident investigations and facilitate the return to work program. Manage daily activities regarding injury management and worker’s compensation issues. Administrate the company’s Substance Abuse Program, including drug and alcohol testing. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in safety related field. Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 standards. First Aid, CPR, OSHA 500 certification. 0-2 years of construction safety experience. |
