Why is it so hard for a black man to get a job in a industry that is on the rise.With all the training and skills it takes to be committed to work safety but where is the opportunities?

I hope this information aswer your question. As a black man it is a struggle to get into any good paying job without either knowing someone or being in the right place at the right time. I will encourage you to Network with others in the industry, no matter what their race. I joined an Safety Organization and continue to take training classes. This serves dual purpose; 1. Meet new people and get job leads.
2. Education, Build your Professional Portfolio and Credentials.
