I havebeen a union worker for 15 yrs and I too have been drawn to a career as a safety specialist. I have completed the OSHA 30hr, 510,and the 500 classes. I am also about to take the STS test. I have taken all of this within 6 months while being unemployed. I am turning down job offers from my unionin order to persue this career. I am currently seeking entry level employment. Any suggestions on how or where to go besides texas(redskin fan) in order to gain experience and a job.
