What area of Safety?
I would suggest all the FEMA courses on emergency management as a start.

Obtain your certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). This is the ultimate goal as having a career in any safety field. There are classes but the test is extremely difficult. That is why the certification is valued so much.

quite a bit of math,for construction anyway.Example is the mathematics in physics applied towards fall protection
