hello i just got a job as a sales consultant at a local car dealership the only things i can tall you is be professional be honest and look your potential boss in the eyes and just go with the flow i had no clue what was going to happen and i aced my interview so just be yourself!!!!

Hi guys, i need someone out there to help me with this:

I got a mail from a company a month ago about a job offer, saying they would like me to come in for an interview, and that i should give them a call, which i did. Unfortunately, i am not in the states for this interview, and the lady i spoke with asked me when i could come in, and i told her August. She said when i get there, then i should call her and we could set up a date to meet.

My problem now, is: is there something i am supposed to do in the meantime before i go to the interview, like send the company some mails to show how serious i am, what sort of mails do i send, i am just really confused now.

PS, i am new on this site, just that i have been pondering about this problem and i don't really know how to go about it.

Any thoughts u could share would be highly appreciated. Thanx:-(

Always look your best from head to toe. Do not have anything in your mouth, such as candy or gum. Look the interviewer straight in the eye. This lets them know you are paying attention to what they have to say and that is important to them. Be prepared to answer questions about how to perform certain task that would be in your job discription. Do not cut them off while they are talking. Always let them finish what they are saying. Keep your answers to a minimum. Only give them what they are looking for. Sometimes to much information is not good. Be sure to use your manners such as please and thankyou. Thank them for taking the time to see you. Most importantly be yourself, because if you fake it in the interview and happen to get hired you will have to fake forever. Hope this helps.
