AT&T Wireless career opportunities

I’ve seen many job openings from AT&T (Cingular Wireless) and all for part-time sales positions. Imagine my excitement when finally, a full time career opportunity. So my friend and I each applied. She was called for an interview, I was not. Immediately upon beginning the interview she was ask if she would also be interested in the part-time sales position opening that was not advertised but had to be filled prior to hiring the advertised position of full time “Sales Support Representative”. Did I mention the job advertisement claimed to be re-posted? Turns out the previous position was for, you guessed it, PT Sales. Well today the full time Support position claims to be re-posted again from a re-post of an unrelated position offered weeks ago. After discussing these different “openings” with my husband, we have come to the conclusion that she’d been deceived. Kind of funny cause I saw it first and she got the interview, but anyway, appears to be a classic case of the old Bait and Switch. We’re thinking they can’t get enough response for a part-time commissioned job, so they are luring people in under the pretence of a full-time opening and from there are trying to pick the biggest sap. Or the person needy enough to accept anything offered. Want to be my friend will never get her full-time support job?
