With economy in the shape that it is, am I better off applying for job with a large city like ATL or not so big Columbus, GA

I am employed with the city of Milwaukee Police Department, and has been for almost 18 years. I've always wanted to relocate to the south because of health reasons, but I was told that instead of living in an area like Phenix City, AL or Columbus,GA., I would probably have better luck with finding a job relocating to a large city vs. small. I have until June, to make a final decision regarding this matter. Please give me some input on what would probably be a better move.

Speakin from experience-do not move to GA without having something lined up!!! Check out wsbtv.com for unemployment rate info and check out ajc.com for employment info hope this info helps
