Security Training in Orange County, California 14 months ago |
You can do the training online in Florida or in-person once you get to California. The Florida guard license is no good here in the Golden State of California :o( California has reciprocity with any other states when it comes to Security Licensing. To answer question you will need to complete 3 simple step in order to become a licensed guard in California according to www.nsetc.com they offer the courses online anywhere in the WORLD. You should also check out www.myguardcard.com videos on getting a security guard card. Step one Complete the training online or in-person at a licensed Bureau of Security and Investigative Services aka BSIS training center www.bsis.ca.gov the bsis is the security industries licensing authority in the State of California. After you complete the class complete step two which requires you begin your background by getting fingerprinted at a live scan center within the state. You can however submit paper FBI cards with your fingerprints if you live out of state, the BSIS does not accept electronic live scan submission out of state. Step 3 is submit the application to become a guard to the state. The application can be submitted online, in person or by mail to the BSIS. Each step is going to cost you a few bucks, The National Security Enforcement Training Centers website is the most affordable licensed training center at $49 bucks for the class, $51.00 for the live scan fingerprinting, and $50 to the state. They are all paid separately, beware of training center that say they will complete all the steps for you, remember nothings free and they will charge you for that convenience. Send me a message or contact www.nsetc.com if you need any help. Hope this helps, wish you the best in California, and an early WELCOME! |
