hi, i worked in security field in 1999 for maybe 3 months, and i quit that time i hated that job cuz the company i worked with, hired me for a salary and my first paycheck was a different salary, i tried this job again in 2006, it was a good starting salary, $9 and after a month it become $9.50 but the problem the company lost the contract with the client so i was forced to look for another job cuz it was no other opportunity in security job,but now after almost 1 year my license expired i want to know if i can renew it without being working in a security at this time? thanx

I might suggest you contact your state ... in which you reside/live ...insurance commission & license department for a new or renewal unarmed security application for license.
This should be under state government in the phone book for the phone number you can call for information.
Surely whoever answers the phone can steer you in the correct direction from there.
I didn't read but you had a license, 1 year old? Expired?
I'm assuming you meant for unarmed security license?
If so, if you have not, you might have to locate a day class for I think 8 hour course.
If nothing else call a few security companies in your area & ask them how, when, where.
For armed license though time factors are more in detail.
