What are the top 3 traits or skills every security supervisor must have to excel? Can you suggest any tips or insights to develop your security supervisor expertise? |

IMHO, Security supervison requires standard management skills. The first being able to be a constant neutral point of contact for your officers. You have to be organized, the list of items under your watch are ever increasing. Staffing, scheduling, training, coordination of contractors and subs, interior conflict resolution with employees, post order creation & revision, and constantly improving the overall security program is among a few. To narrow the list of skills to three is nearly impossible considering all of the many things the position encompasses. |
