What are typical shift supervisor salaries? Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field?

I started out in Snack foods, making 39K, then graduated and changed industries to Roofing Mfg, making 41K , Added a Safety Coordinator and supervisor position and made 43K, then changed industries again and went into Pharmaceutical Pkg and negotiated up to 52K, then went back into high speed bottling and made 60K, then went into frozen foods supervision and made 60K again. Learn continuous improvement leadership, Lean Manufacturing, five S and learn to be versatile and add some OSHA Safety and Food Safety with it if you are in the food or materials manufacturing business. Develop your people skills and groom you team into top producers. Then you can write your own ticket - worked for me.
