How did you get your start doing shipping supervisor work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Do you need a particular educational background?

I started at the bottom, as just another Shipping warehouse worker, but after three months they made me a lead. After about another three months of me essentially doing the Supervisor's job, he was let go. They had an open posting for the job in store, and I signed up. I was the only qualified person who actually wanted the job, so I got it.

I have no education beyond a High School diploma from a city with a not particularly great education ranking. Education is nothing next to training and experience for a job like this.
