SAP is an icloud integrated warehouse management system that is under oracle license . sap is mostly used for big facilities which manufacture or just have big facilities . prices range from $50,000 - $250,000 to operate under SAP . Material requirements planning (MRP) is a production planning, scheduling, and inventory control system used to manage manufacturing processes. Most MRP systems are software-based, while it is possible to conduct MRP by hand as well. HOPE THIS HELPS 75 MONTHS LATER LOL

better question is what the difference between ERP & MRP.ERP is short for enterprise resource planning. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is business process management software that allows an organization to use a system of integrated applications to manage the business and automate many back office functions related to technology, services and human resources

SAP IS CATEGORIZED as an MRP system
