How did you get your start doing six sigma black belt work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position? Do you need a particular educational background? |

I have been working as a Six sigma Black Belt for five years. I originally got my Six Sigma training working at GE Capital which truly has best in class training. After leaving GE I worked in Six Sigma at a bank and continued learning more. First of all not all Certified Black Belts are equal. Most employers won't recognize a lot of the places out there churning them out now even colleges. You need it from a top company or the ASQ. And most importantly you need the business experience o go with it. I will not hire Black Belts that have not worked in a leadership position in the field they are applying. |

Is Villavona's program reputable? Also if your not experienced as black belt in leadership position is certification useless? |
