Employment Needed

I think that management is making things very difficult for individuals who is applying and have the qualifications for the job. For example, a person applies for a position with the appropriate degrees and the years of experiences, only to learn, during the interview that the individual is over qualified. What I don't understand is how to define over qualified. What I think, is that, the person who is conducting these interview, might not have the degree and sees the person as someone who is coming in too take his/her job away. For me, I believe that if a person can handle the position it's your. I am not going to look at someone coming to take my job. Believe in myself, what ever is for a person he /she will receive when the time is right. People has a tendency of forgetting where they came from. This theory is especially for those who are insecure of themselves; they will make an attempt to muddy another person's water who is willing and is capable of working to put food on the table for their family. I see this every day with lots of selfish people. They are just about themselves. In today's society, it appears that everyone is for themselves, I wish I had a hard heart like some of the people out there. Maybe, I would have done the same. Life must go own, very interesting. Recommendation: Please give the person (s) the opporunity to prove themselves.

I have experience in this field that you have just advertised. My degree also qualify me to apply for the job. Ihope i will be called in fortjhe interview soon.

I am with you I have only a bachelor in Psychology and I have been applying in the private sector as a case manager just to find out that the person who is interviewng me has a a GED or High School Diploma. The result I don't get the job due to what you already explained.

I agree with the comment. I only have a Bachelor Degree and I am looking for a job mainly in the private sector. However, Usually the "Case Managers" that interview me only have GED or High School Diploma and they see me as an intrusive and envy. The results are that I do not get the job. It seems to me that I am getting punished because I worked hard in getting a College Degree. I am only a single mom that is trying to work.
