Hi, I have been working in the nursing field for 16 years. I spend the last five five years pressuring bachelors in nursing only to change my mind and switched to a bachelors in science. I major in sociology with a minor in psychology and graduated in 12/06. My question is how I can get a job as a social worker, case manager, or counselor with minimal experiences. |

First, you are a nurse, you have TOP advantage of getting in social work. But, to get a job as a social worker, you must get your LMSW, MSW, or CASAC. If you get these license or either one. You will hit the JACKPOT. I have a Master's degree in counseling. It is very hard for me to find a job. You must get a license in social work or a CASAC. |
