I will be getting my MSW from USC in May 2012. When should I start applying for jobs? I know government jobs take a while but what about jobs at agencies, hospitals or schools?

I would start now. I graduated with an MPH in 2011, and started my job search in 2010. Even though I was qualified for jobs due to prior employment/experiences, I was turned down from positions and even internships. I finally found a job (through networking) in April 2011; however, my official start date was in Oct 2011. Good luck with everything.
