I am considering moving to the Bay Area and I am wondering how hard it is for an electrical engineer to find a job there. I have 10 years experience, and a somewhat diverse resume (VHDL design, embedded C/C++ design, verification & test). So what is the likelyhood of me finding a job within a couple of months? Are contract positions more common than permenant positions? What kind of salary can I expect (I'm thinking $100k is the bear minimum, is that a reasonable expectation?). Thanks!
